Opening in the early 1990's, St Leonards Vineyard was home to one of the first winery bistro's in Australia. 'Le Bistro' as it was formerly known became a booming success with locals and tourists alike creating the demand for winery restaurants Australia wide.
Today at St Leonards Café, the uninterrupted views of the Murray River still remain, as does the scaled back and ever changing menu which is both relaxed and rustic yet maintains its focus on using the best local, fresh and seasonal produce to their guests.
All Saints Estate Head Chef Simon Arkless’ impressive culinary background means his menus are constantly evolving and utilise his European acquired training and experience in every meal. Dishes range from house-made Fish and Chips through to antipasto platters to share with friends out in the sunshine whilst enjoying the stunning surrounds.
Owners Eliza, Angela and Nicholas Brown, work with Simon and the team from Terrace Restaurant to offer food that is a reflection of the region and the bucolic winery surroundings and the St Leonards Cellar Door offers a selection of premium beers and soft drinks as well as the full range of St Leonards Vineyard wines for you to choose from. When St Leonards Cafe is not open a selection of antipasto items including cured meats, preserved fish, cheese and olives can still be purchased to enjoy.
