ABOUT Social Food Project @ Prahran Market

This unique pop-up venue is located inside the Prahran Market. It is rustic, has a wonderful bar and looks onto the market.

This 6 month partnership aims to create a haven of food and drink. The venue itself is super versatile, approximately 80m2, with roller doors and windows and movable furniture. It's simple, rustic and clean, and would suit birthday parties, Christmas events, cocktail events, sit down dinners for up to 40 guests, and hands on workshops.

If you want an afternoon to do something a little different, they are also available to hire for cooking and food workshops and classes. The aim of the cooking workshops is to learn from one of their top chefs about sustainable foods and how to prepare delicious meals.

They offer demonstrations, where top chefs share their skills and knowledge around the kitchen or interactive workshops, where you can participate in the action and create your own meals from scratch. They can cater to any special interests, like special dietry meals or cooking on a budget.

Social Food Project also offers a range of workshops and catering services, from Corporate Catering and Dinner Parties to Event Caterings.

All offerings ensures ethical and eco-friendly ingredients of the highest standard. In conjunction with that, all projects aim to fund community projects and works towards making a brighter and cleaner future for all.
