Hosting an event in an art gallery space is a unique and sophisticated experience sure to impress friends, clients, staff or business associates.

The Ground Floor of the main gallery area is available for hire, with 65 square meters of usable space that can accommodate up to 100 people.

Ministry of Art is a very flexible space with fully functioning kitchen facilities, ample refrigeration, toilets as well as tables and chairs. Catering can be arranged through the venue’s local suppliers or alternatively, you can choose to self-cater.

The beauty of this venue is that you are only restricted by your imagination, and the team at Ministry of Art are creative thinkers and are happy to help plan your unique event in their space. The option to BYO alcohol with No min. charge (one simple upfront fee), allowing you to offer your favourite wines to your guests.

Ministry of Art can even hang particular style of paintings to enhance the theme of your function or party, their only stipulation is that they require their security to be present at all events for insurance purposes.

Since opening in 2014 they have hosted a wide variety of events including; A corporate team building art experience (40 people), Corporate Client Xmas drinks (60 people), Delsinki Records CD launch - music, body art, installation art, full bar spread over 2 levels (120 people), Westpac Youth Network launch function (60 people), Ozchild charity launch (40 people), RCD Foundation launch drinks (80 people), Hens’s Parties, Engagement Party (60 people), Sit down Dinner Party 50th (50 people), MOSS Charity Auction (100 people).
