Alumbra is situated at the end of Central Pier’s historic runway and housed in a 1914 heritage-listed cargo shed. The authentic warehouse conversion, located in the heart of Melbourne’s Docklands precinct, celebrates all that encompasses downtown New York City, and has become notorious for LIVE entertainment, sold out shows, and local gigs.
Alumbra’s philosophy of music, life and culture is brought to life with a foodie partnership featuring masterchef Daniel Wilson – The face behind the immensely popular Huxtaburger. Dan brings his memories and love of living in New York City to Alumbra with a bar menu showcasing his big city favourites, including the Bad dog with BBQ beef hot dog, smoked cheddar & vodka tomato relish, BBQ pulled chicken & slaw sliders on a brioche bun, and the signature NY cheeseburger deluxe complete with lettuce, tomato, cheese, pickles, ketchup, mustard & mayo.
The cocktail menu has been curated with assistance of Roar Projects beverage director, David Debattista, who has created an amazing array of NYC inspired cocktails, featuring a selection of master cocktails that highlight Alumbra’s superior beverage partners.
Alumbra also boast an extensive selection of champagne, wine, beer, spirits and liqueurs which go hand in hand with anything on their NYC street bite menu, all the while enjoying the sun set over the Victoria Harbour.
