Akaiito Restaurant is the newest two-level fine diner to hit the bustling Flinders Lane. Combining fresh local and top notch globally sourced ingredients with Akaiito’s East-Meets-West interpretation of modern Japanese cuisine, their menu showcases the best from their culinary team.
Akaiito’s first floor dining area features the largest Robatayaki Grill in Melbourne using 100% imported Japanese coals; whilst the show kitchen also serves the freshest sushi and sashimi the market has to offer. Akaiito offer a variety of seafood, meat and vegetables for customers to choose from. Additional to the a lá carte dining selections, the signature Robata Omakase is one of the highlight experiences.
Being seated at the Robata Counter, enjoy an intermit night with our chefs as they prepare a special set menu right in front of you using the best of the day’s ingredients. During the week, Akaiito also offers a variety of 6 deluxe bento boxes and a selection of a la carte items for an express from 12pm-3pm, Monday to Friday.
Downstairs, Akaiito offers a casual hidden underground bar to pair with the formal dining experience upstairs. With a mixture of booths and bar seating, guests could indulge in a mixture of bar snacks and food, as well as tap beers, cocktails, sakes and wines from an exclusive list tailored for the bar.
