Located in Brisbane’s south-side, the Garden Grille Restaurant and Bar is The Glen Hotel's signature restaurant specialising in serving premium, locally sourced produce. Offering à la carte style dining with an alfresco feel, guests can relax in the lush surroundings of the garden only steps away.

Head Chef Brad Casey has designed the menu with a focus on the best quality steaks, seafood, poultry and local produce being stars of his meals. For entrée, they recommend the pork belly fritters which are accompanied by pickled cucumber, soused chilli, sriracha sauce and maple bourbon glaze. They are a favourite among regulars, and always leaves you wanting more! The crispy skin duck breast is Chef Brad’s signature dish and is a must have when visiting the Garden Grille. Served with parsnip purée, asparagus mousse, heirloom carrots, sweet onion lychee jam, freeze dried mandarin and red wine jus, the combination of sweet and savoury elements create the perfect flavour hybrid. Made fresh in house, the wild mushroom gnocchi is equally delicious as it is beautiful. Accompanied with truffle cream sauce, buffalo mozzarella and finished with torched gorgonzola, this is the ultimate guilty pleasure dish and it certainly satisfies!

If dessert is in your future, and it should be, you cannot go past the lychee and raspberry parfait. Complete with pistachio crumb, mint syrup and berry jelly, this ice-cream delight is just as fresh as it is sweet. On the other end of the spectrum, if chocolate is your only vice then look no further than the triple chocolate brownie to quash those cravings. Peanut brittle, toasted coconut oats, white chocolate ganache and vanilla bean ice cream will have your heart (and stomach) singing.

An undiscovered gem of Brisbane’s south-side, the Garden Grille Restaurant will delight those looking for a special dining experience. Catering for vegetarians and vegans also, The Glen Hotel’s signature restaurant is a place for everyone.
