The One and Only, Miss Moneypenny

It wouldn’t be a trip to Noosa without visiting Miss Moneypenny’s at least once. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and enjoy some quality food and drinks, or a venue to host your next function, look no further than this favourite local haunt.

Located on the main street of Noosa, Miss Moneypenny’s have a number of awards under their belt, taking out the Best Regional Bar in Australia in 2014 for good reason. The stylish décor teamed with a relaxed vibe provides the perfect atmosphere for whatever mood you’re in, whatever time of the day.

In typical Noosa style, what started off as a glorious sunny morning spent lazing on the beach, saw two girls frantically packing up their set up for the day, running off the beach, towels soaked in a mere matter of moments from the sudden rain clouds that overtook the blue skies, beating Usain Bolt’s world record. It was here that one, Miss Moneypenny, would come to our rescue and like she did for James Bond, brighten our dampened (literally) spirits.

ONE OF THE NAPOLI-STYLE PIZZAS WITH PROSCIUTTO AND FIG

The menu is a fusion of Mediterranean-inspired, modern Australian cuisine, offering breakfast through to dinner menus sure to please all. Whilst hearing rave reviews about their gourmet pizza selection, and getting major food envy seeing them delivered to other patrons, we agreed to return the next day for dinner, opting in the mean time for own little ‘mezze’ from the snacks selection.

CURED MEATS BOARD

Salt and pepper squid with fermented chilli aioli and a generous cured meats board cured our weather blues, washed down with a few cocktails, we had forgotten altogether how our afternoon was ALMOST ruined.

Treat yourself to one of their international standard cocktails from their extensive list, like their signature ‘Bellini’ or the ‘Miss Moneypenny’s Paloma’ which mixes tequila and St-Germain elderflower with fresh pink grapefruit, lychee juices, hibiscus and lightly pressed blueberries – it may not have bought the sun back out but it certainly had us smiling.

Next time you’re in Noosa, don’t let the penny drop, head to Miss Moneypenny’s.
