The Common Man Bar and Restaurant is situated on the banks of the Yarra River in South Wharf. It has gorgeous, relaxing river views with the city conveniently nearby.

All day and all night The Common Man is there to provide you with affordable, good quality food as reflected in the array of flavours and influence that has shaped Marvellous Melbourne. Whether you sit down for a latte or are a part of a group you will experience a wonderful, attentive service.

The Common Lawn is a wonderful outdoor all weather space you can hire exclusively – it’s the perfect space for EOFY events. It is currently touted as the Pavilion of Indulgence theme complete with massive marquee and outdoor bar serving spiked hot chocolates, craft beer, Mörk chocolate dessert and food specials.

Additionally, The Common Man has a dedicated breakfast menu seven days per week, a happy hour and delicious meals like burgers, pizza’s and hot wings. You can even watch live sport on Foxtel!

Overlooking the river is a large astro-turfed garden area and is perfect for large pop-up style events up to 450 people. Additionally, there is an option to add a marquee and pop up bar to the Common Lawn, fully transforming the outdoor space into an undercover one for your next event.
